SHould I wait?

I was working on my backup comp at home and lost a motherboard. I decided I would go ahead and upgrade my backup and make it my main comp. I bought a new machine, argued with them until they gave me an XP disk instead of Vista. (this was before I read all the problems) Thank goodness I did.
When I finally got everything set up the way I wanted it, I went to install Hoster 3.319 and ran into the 2 install rule. No problem, I sent a support ticket to ask for an additional install on 3/21.
When I didn't get a reply after monday, I checked in the forums to see what was going on. I have read all the threads on missing songs etc.
My question is this. Should I go ahead and wait for a reset of my reg and install 3.321, or just wait for the 4.0 upgrade? I don't mind waiting and or paying for 4.0 but I am a little nervous about not having a backup even though the program has never failed me, my hardware has. The main comp is the exact same as the backup that just lost the motherboard and that makes me wonder if it will fail shortly.
Also, even though I have only needed support a couple of times in the past, they were very quick to respond.

Yes install 3.321 when you get your reset code.

I know that they were closed Friday and Monday so they are probably a little backed up.

I didn't realize that. I will be patient.
