Internet Explorer 7 upgrade

I know to make eveything work 100% we need install all upgrades... but... I also use my laptop for my day job & for that program I am not allowed to upgrade to IE7. Before I try 3.320 can you pls tell me if it will work without IE7. If not I will not be able to upgrade from 3.317. I have held off upgrading (luckily after seeing what 3.318 & 3.319 have done) but I still have the temp file problems. If I can't upgrade, then I will try to reinstall the old 3.310 version which never had any problems...

IE is'nt so much an upgrade as it is a separate program from MS.
You only need IE (or another browser) in order to download the file.
