![]() Hi.
I see in the carpet "temp" when zip file is ziped with spanish chars don´t play. But in the same carpet "temp" this file is unziped for hoster and it play fine. The problem is the compresion routine in hoster, It have a bug for ziped files with spanish chars. Only if file is ziped make this error. "Unexpected error processing the zip file: 0x00000200" I clear the "temp" carpet but the problem not fix. |

Hoster doesn't have a compression routine. Hoster can only decompress (unzip). You may have those files zipped with a compression ratio that the current Hoster can't work with. There is a fix in the works along with other things so be patient. In the mean time if an unzipped version works then unzip them and import that way. The error message you are getting indicates that your hard drive is filling up. The minimum free space that should be on the C: Drive is 30% and 50% would be much better. To empty the temp directories, you need to be an administrator (for Vista turn off the UAC also) and you need to set your folder options to allow you to see "all" of the files. There are 3 possible temp folders that need to be emptied. 1. If it exists C:\Temp 2. C:\Windows (or WINNT)\Temp 3. C:\Documents and settings\(your user name)\Local Settings\Temp

![]() Yes, my translation is bad.
The correct is temp directory. I use Vista. The Hard Drive have 65% empty space. Compressed files are KMA. I import these files with old version of Hoster. If I run hoster 3.316 not have problems to import and play these files. Problems to play and import their files is only in hoster 3.317. My problem is I have a lot of spanish karaoke music (90%), I named their files with database KSLC and KJpro with CDGautoname. This databases have spanish chars for some songs. Rename my entire colection without spanish chars is a great job. You think make any solution for this problem in next upgrade? ![]() Quote:

![]() You are using Vista (what version?) If you have already imported all these files with 3.316 why are you having to do it again with 3.317? Once they are in KMA format then the new version should see them in the database and be able to play them.

One quick item...check your zip files that won't load to see if both extensions (mp3 and cdg) are the same case? If not change them to the same and try again to import.

My files are KMA, imported from zip files to database with Hoster 3.316 and older. These files in Hoster 3.316 no problems. I have installed in my laptop hoster 3.317 with Vista Ultimate. I my home PC Hoster 3.316, it work without problems.
If I import new zip files with spanish chars in Hoster 3.316 no problems. In Hoster 3.317 not import it, display error. Zip files are exactly names (CDgs and mp3s). Quote:

Are you re-importing them on the laptop? If so you don't need to do that. Just link the two computers and copy the KMA files from desktop to laptop. Then rebuild the database on the laptop.

I have external HDD for my laptop, not problem with this. I maintain one copy exactly of my files in laptop and PC. In the laptop rebuild the database when get new collection of karaoke disks (2 or 3 disk per week). This files are imported with Hoster 3.316 in my PC and not problems. When copy their files to external HDD, rebuild the database (Hoster 3.317) and rebuild OK. But when play certain files have problems (most files have spanish chars, no problem in 3.316) only in 3.317, files is a KMA. This files is send to temp folder, I unzip this and load as MP3G and play fine.
1- Zips files imported with Hoster 3.316 and have spanish chars not problem to play and import with this. 2- Hoster 3.317 not imported same zip file (display error). 3- Same file imported with 3.316 and copy to directory (Hoster KMA files) and rebuild the database with 3.317 no problem but not play it. If unzip this play fine. |

Do you have the UAC turned off? We are finding this to be wrong. Turn it back on.
Then open Explorer and go to the Hoster Folder and click on the Compatability Files Button. You may also have to go to the Folder on the External drive where the song files are located and do the same thing.
