Hoster locking up

Hi Guys

Last night had the strangest problem when I went to play a track the track wouldn't play and then the buttons on hoster would start flickering any ideas why this would be
I have the latest windows updates and I am using xp pro any help would be useful

Do you have all of the latest drivers for your sound card, videocard and CD burner?

Hi Mad

Yep right up to date got the system here now and it has started doing the same thing again when I press play the buttons in hoster all start flickering very strangely I cant even close hoster down I have to do a hard boot

Restart your computer then get online and reinstall Hoster.

Also check your video card driver, the flickering makes me think you may need a vista driver upgrade, maybe not.

You can also try a system restore.

I am using window xp pro and have had no problems until now everything on the system is fine just hoster buttons flickering and locking up I will check updated drivers and make sure all is fine thanks

try restore..see if that helps ( just trying to help )

Thanks done restore no joy all drivers are up to date and working fine done a custom update on windows all fine will re-install hoster and hope that solves the problem tomorrow can u reset my license or can I just reinstall hoster on the same machine

Hoster will reinstall on your computer since it's a registered machine.

If the probblem still happens after the reinstall, work with the video acceleration setting.

I would look too at your event viewer and see what (if any) error message is being recorded, often times there will be a link to microsoft for that error message that will sometimes point you in the right direction.
