Problem playing video tracks

I have just purchased Hoster 3.310 (Order No 45022). I'm not sure if i'm doing something wrong, or if you've got a little bug in the program.

I have it installed on a laptop. I can split the screen, so i can see the hoster program on the laptop display and the karaoke display on the TV via the S-Video connection.

It all works perfectly when i play an MP3-G track but when I play a VCD the karaoke display window shows on the laptop not the TV. I can resize the video playback window on the laptop display, but I cannot drag the window so I can't move it onto the other display.

Also, the control-space hot key to stop doesn't seem to work during video playback.

Am I doing something wrong?

This is in the manual although it's not as clear as it could be.
Maybe this will help a little Scroll down to post #4

.wmv will not show on second display

I love the new features on 3.310, but .wmv files will not show on a second display. When I click "Add Video", it defaults to .dat and .vob files. So, I change the "file type" to .wmv and it will add to the Playlist, but the video only displays in a second window on my laptop. When I go back to adding .kma files it automatically displays on the second display. Is there something special that needs to be done in order to view the other file types and a second display that this new version is supposed to support?

Still confused!!!

My kma's already appear on the second display, so there is no Window on laptop that needs to be resized. This was done months ago. I only get a second display on my laptop when I try to view a Video file & it will not move, nor does double-clicking it do anything. Yet, when I play the next kma, it appears on the second display, just like always.

you cannot drag the window you have to strech it onto the other display.

Grab the right hand side of the screen and stretch it onto the second display.

Then grab the left side of the screen and stretch it over to the same screen.

You will now have it on the 2nd screen. It explains this in the manual.

you can only do this when a video is playing. it is a separate screen

Exactly you have to Stretch the screen to fit. Do as stated in the Manual. You have to fix the screen while playing a .kma file, not a video file.

It should then work fine for you.
