Question Intel Extreme graphics

Does intel extreme graphics built in some laptops have dual display that will work with hoster? I've seen some laptops with intel extreme graphics that have s-video out, that's why I'm asking.

Right Click on the desktop go to properties then go to Settings tab. If you see two monitors then dual screen is supported. If you see one monitor then it isn't.

I have a Dell laptop with a svideo out but it doesn't support dual monitors. I found out the hard way. It only works in the clone mode.

The Intel Extreme graphics in a laptop does not have enough power to run the Video for Hoster.

The only laptops that we have found with Built in video, other than High End ATI Graphics chips that will work are ones that have the Intel 915 Media Accelerator or the 950 Intel Chips.

We have 2 laptops running Hoster so that we have totally redundant systems and never get "caught with our pants down." They both have built-in Intel graphics and both work great. The first is an HP Pavillion DV1000, with Intel 855GM video. The second is a Dell Inspiron 6400 with Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 950. The Dell runs like a dream with the new Intel Core-Duo processor and 1 GB of memory. But its best feature is its ability to multitask. We can be playing dance music before a show with Virtual DJ Studio Pro, and have Hoster up in the foreground creating playlists. The audio will not cut out or stutter during searching or adding tracks. Using the HP, evey time you search for a song in Hoster, the audio will cut out for a second. Maybe it has something to do with the Core-Duo or maybe the built in audio is better. In any case, I am very impressed by the Dell. Hope this helps!
