Demo KMA, CDG files

I've downloaded Hoster demo to try on my laptop. Would it be possible to make some KMA files or .cdg available so people can test the program on their systems?

There must be copyright free cdg files around. 30 seconds of Happy Birthday or something like that, just so we can see how the system will look when running.

Thanks,
Dave Everett

If you have your own CDG disks, I believe the demo will allow you to load some songs from them in order to try it out. You'll have to have a CDG-compatible CD drive, though, in order for it to recognize the disks.

Once we release Hoster 3.300 (expected 12/15/05), we will update the demo, which will allow importing with more CDROM/CDR/DVDR drives. Regretfully, there will be some random dots in the lyrics with other than Plextor drives. However, if you have tried competitive products, you will find MTU's imported files to contain less graphic changes.

We just lowered the cost of our CDG Certified DVDR drives to the lowest on the market.

I don't have a CDG compatible drive at the moment. I'm working on getting one so I can at least backup my CDGs.

I just thought it would be nice to have a demo cdg that people can run so they can see the features of Hoster.

I can play VCD, but as it is just a video window with no controls at all, it's like playing it in media player.

Good news that you will be supporting more drives.

Buy a Plextor, It will save you lots of time and trouble down the road.
