VCD through Hoster
VCD is actually pretty simple. You can just copy the files directly from your VCD disk to your computer hard drive, renaming them however you'd like (Disk number, song title, whatever). If the extension isn't already .mpg, I believe you can change it to that without any issue. The file can then be played through Hoster using the VCD button. The drawbacks are that it doesn't add the song to the playlist - just starts playing it immediately once it's selected - and you have to move the video window over to the singer's display every time it starts up (and then maximize it); depending on how quickly the words come up, you may have a tough time doing this quickly enough for the singer to start singing with it. Personally, I'm still playing my video files through Windows Media Player (screen stays on the singer's display consistently after it's moved once, and can be maximized full-screen with a keystroke) - once MTU adds full-fledged functionality for the videos, I'll happily make the switch.
