I have reformatted my computer and am trying to get my MTU Program back on. Now it says registration numbers don't match to my computer.

I even have their CD I bought, and I still can't load it because of a registration number. My original download link has expired, but doesn't the cd work???

Here is what MTU has posted to do.

Serial Number does not match Registration Information.

Fix:
1) Make sure the computer is connected to the Internet before Step 5
2) Run the Installation of Hoster Selecting Remove
3) Reboot the computer
4) Make sure that computer is connected to the Internet now.
5) Run the Installation of Hoster. Entering in your Original RegCode and Upgrade Code Information as needed. Follow on screen Instructions until you get to Finish.
6) Reboot the computer.
7) Hoster should now work correctly.

This problem occurs because we fixed quite a bit in the Security, which the older versions didn't have accurately read the information. Now that it is accurately reading the correct information, the old information causes this error.

This problem is because you have not done all of the Windows updates. I thought in your Email to me that you could not reinstall the software. You can now reinstall the software, but I have this problem identified in the FAQ, so you must run all of the Windows Updates to fix this.

Here is the FAQ that you need to follow to fix it: http://www.mtu.com/support/faq/faq-i...htm#SNMismatch

Also make sure that you have Hoster 3.120 that you are trying to Install. This was also updated in the Software to make this error not happen as much. You still must have all the Windows Updates though.
