Thumbs down Cancel Button Not Cancelling

Admin,
I was trying to add some new CDs to Hoster just before a show last weekend and one track seemed to be taking forever to read. Most likely it was bad, but that is inconsequential. It was coming down to show time, so I decided to cancel the import to get ready for the show. However, the cancel button didn't stop the read and I eventually had to use Task Manager to close out Hoster to stop it. Is this normal or a problem?

That is not just in Hoster. That is a Windows or cd reading, writing software. Any time the writer is having a hard time reading a disc and you hit cancel it will take a while to stop. I don't think it's a Hoster problem.
