Re: Sunfly

Sounds like it is multi-session,If your import screen shows an extra track at the end that is 20 or 30 seconds or so, it's multi-session. Microstudio as well as some other rippers will fix it. I hadn't heard that sunfly was going that route but I don't know what else it would be.

Re: Sunfly

I agree with Sam, if the last track on a disc is not able to import into Hoster, it is a Multi-Session protected disc.

Within several months, we will release a Hoster upgrade that will read all tracks from a Multi-Session protected disc. This is a "side effect" of our new software to import CDG disc tracks from more CDROM/CDR/DVDR drives.

Re: Sunfly

This may be a mute point with MTU next upgrade but I was able to copy my disc and use the copy to load into hoster. The last song is long timing wise but usuable.

Hi Bob,

I looked up multi session but it seems like a lot of hassle just for one track. Is there any way of getting the track on without the extra minutes ?

We are sending out Hoster 3.300 Beta 1 today for testing. It contains our new CDR/DVDR drive interface code that can import all tracks on multi-session discs. Our internal testing has shown excellent results.

I estimate 3.300 will release between October 31 and December 31; earlier if our testers don't report any problems.
