Help! Microstudio Problem

I have been using my Microstudio for over a year. Last winter the program began to have problems writing CD+G's. It would write most of the songs, then open the tray and say error read/write bad medium ect... I could then put in another disc, same manufacturer and it would work. Now it won't write anything. I use Microsoft XP. I have downloaded the new version of Microstudio, 2.611 and have done all the upgrades to my commputer. I ran the defragmenter, reloaded Microstudio and still not working? Can someone help me?

If your drive is a Plextor, then go to Plextor's website, and download the diagnostics and run it. It sounds like the drive has been going out, and just finally gave up .

I agree with Gduns, as it sounds as if the drive has died. Plextor will beable to tell you for sure.
