Smile Playback

When I playback Kma files I get Pops and Drop outs faintly in the background.
Whilist performing most punters do not notice it, however I notice it. This varys from file to file some worse some not at all. It also happens with MP3Gs and I have tried playing the same MP3Gs on other programs, and it's fine. Has any one got an idea what is wrong.

Cheers Christian

I had that happening with a built in sound card, and put in a soundblaster audigy, and the problems went away.

As stated above, try getting all of the updates from Microsoft, located at http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com and then also make sure that you have udpated your Video card drivers from the Manufacturers website.

Then if this still doesn't work, try another sound card as stated above.
