New Release 3.108 - Fade Out Button

I just downloaded and installed the new 3.108. I remember the beta testers talking about the "fade out button" and how awesome it worked. I cannot find such a button. Am I missing it somewhere? Or, was it not added in this upgrade? That was one feature I was looking forward to. Does anyone know about this?

Use your original email for when you bought Hoster. The link is there.

Re: New Release 3.108 - Fade Out Button

Bob,
I don't have a "fade out" button even when the songs are playing. If it's supposed to be there, I don't have it for some reason.

Also, if anyone cares, on the main Hoster screen it states to delete a track in the playlist: "Delete=Ctrl+Del" when it should be "Delete=Shift+Del".

Question Re: New Release 3.108 - Fade Out Button

I also don't have a fade out button. Is this coming in a future release or has it been put on the back burner.

Re: New Release 3.108 - Fade Out Button

I hope i'm not overstepping bounds here.. but the Fade Button was removed. there have been some consistancy problems with it with some testers. It was a great idea that just didn't work out this time. Maybe in a future release. (but don't quote me on that )

Re: New Release 3.108 - Fade Out Button

djmadmaxx is right, the Fade Out button was removed in 3.108. In beta 3.107, it worked for djmadmaxx and some others, but between Windows 2000 and XP there were inconsistencies and negative effects on other running programs.

Adding the ability to import Microstudio CDG and BIN files, and MP3+G and ZIP files as KMA files with records in our Songs Database and playing was the major "feature group" in 3.108. Now everyone can use Hoster regardless of what format files you have.

Our Microstudio customers who have been running their shows with imported CDG files can now import them from the hard drive into KMA files compressed 10:1 and have all the Hoster benefits also.

We have some very important features under development, such as on-line updating of your Import Database. We will add Fade Out in a future version, but it will probably be done so you can crossfade, not just fade.
