Exclamation I have about 4000 songs and only 500 show up

I am a new Hoster user and things have been going quite well. I've already done a few gigs with it with very good results. I thought that I would break down and read the manual to make sure I was utilizing the software as best I could. I noted all the Windows Tweaks that are mentioned and did them and all seemed fine. I also had noticed that I had incorrectly listed the artists names on several duets so I edited them so that they would show up correctly in the songbooks. I then rebuilt the songbook and it told me that it had 518 entries when it should have about 4,200. I tried rebuilding it again to no avail. I verifed the path to the directory was correct and it is. Then in desperation I uninstalled and then reinstalled Hoster and unfortunately got the same result. I can see all of my songs so I know that they are there. I just don't know why Hoster can only see some of them. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

I tried moving all of the databases to a different folder and started Hoster. It immediately rebuilt the songbook but it still only had 518 entries.

go into the mtu folder and delete the songs.mdb and backupsongs.mdb then go create the songbook.

I deleted both databases and when I created the new songbook I got the identical result.

Re: I have about 4000 songs and only 500 show up

I figured out what it was. Below is one of the things I changed per the manual today and I changed it back simply because nothing else seemed to help so I started to backtrack. This is under the audio dropout troubleshooting section and I wasn't having any problems but I thought I would change it just to be sure I wouldn't. Well I guess I should have left well enough alone. At any rate I changed it back and all is good. Thanks for you help.
