dvd not reconized

for some reason at last nights show hoster would not reconized my Plextor 712 or even the DVD on the laptop. When I try a detect drive in hoster its blank...any ideas...love the hoster though

are you running a DJ program ?? if so, you must first start hoster then start the DJ program.

i had this problem with pcdjfx. if i started fx first, then hoster did not recognize the cd drive. if i started hoster first, then fx, no problems with either.

Will it recognize it if you open Hoster before any other program? Did you have the External Drive plugged in before you opened Hoster?

Also try Reinstalling Hoster to fix the ASPI driver to see if this fixes it.
