Unhappy Problem Installing Mstudio w/diskette

Hi,
I downloaded the software, received the email with registration code, followed the instructions in making the diskette with the executable "runme" file. However when I run the diskette, I get the following error:

" unknown has caused an error in unknown will now close."

Then another window pops up and has the following message:

"This operation has been cancelled due to restrictions in effect on this computer. Please contact system administrator."

I don't get any further. I have tried it on 3 different computers ... same results. My disk drive is functioning fine with other diskettes. I am operating on Windows ME edition.

I read a prior post about someone w/o a disk drive needing assistance and using strictly online setup, but there appeared to be no response from support??? Thus no help to me. It probably would solve more problems if you were not required to use a diskette and be able to send and receive info online. Please reply ASAP. Thanks.
