Re: Song DB Log File Problem

I am trying to stay calm..... When I go to play a song, I get an error and no play.

Not sure what I did.....Hoster is working fine now. Just have to figure out how to import the few MP3+G's I have.

Re: Song DB Log File Problem

Chris, did you rebuild the songs database to fix it? Or what did you do to fix it?

Re: Song DB Log File Problem

I really had two problems

PROB #1
I keep getting an error when I would play a KMA file. Human error on this one. I needed to put in my Indigo Echo sound card. That's what was causing the error when I would play. So embarrased...

PROB#2
The Song DB Log File Problem. I rebuilt the data base. I was still getting the error when I would play (Caused by the lack of Indigo).....I thought I still had a big problem. I moved all 4000 KMA files into a temp folder, deleted hoster all together, reenstalled, upgraded to the new Hoster, put the KMA files back where they should be, and rebuilt the song data base. Everything now works fine. It was more then I had to do to fix the problem, but hey....what the heck All I really had to do, most likley, was just rebuild the song data base.

Now I just have to figure out how this MP3+G thing works.....

Re: Song DB Log File Problem

I had the same problem. I just deleted the file not the kma's and started a fresh new one. It worked for me.

Re: Song DB Log File Problem

I have been adding some new files, each time I run the build song database I get "the song DB log file could not be opened, after clicking ok I then get 509 duplicate book Id's. Since I only added two songs so far, I don't see how this is happening. After this I then get an eror message telling me database already exists would you like help? Clicking help gives you: You tried to create or rename a database using a name that already exists. Enter a different name, and then try the operation again.
