multiple account downloaded discs
recently I purchased HOSTER and a portable PC. A good friend assisted in loading a number of My cdg discs onto the hard drive. I continued loading
cdg discs. I now realize that He used a different account than I and I am looking to consolidate both efforts into one base on the hard drive. It would be very time consuming if I had to re-load all the discs. can it be done and how. |

Re: multiple account downloaded discs
you can drag and drop the .kma files on the new hard drive and rebuild the database.

Re: multiple account downloaded discs
I agree with GDUNS.
I have consolidated KMA files that were in two different folders, but none of the book ID's were duplicates. Then also make sure to delete the unused folder and take it out of the path in the BUILD Song Database Select Source Folders section under the TOOLS tab to save confusion down the road. George |

Re: multiple account downloaded discs
George and gduns are correct. As long as all the disks were assigned different BookIDs, there should be no problem combining them all into one folder.
However, you want to be careful that your friend didn't add any of HIS disks to YOUR database. Unless you have an original copy of every disk that has been imported onto your hard drive, you can be held responsible for the copyright infringement. MTU has a page explaining the copyright laws. You can click here to review them. - Alan
