Considering Hoster

I am considering going to a computer version of karaoke using the hoster software. I have been hosting for 2 1/2 years now. Currently my disc player has a rca video out to my mixer/amp and the amp has three rca video outs to three different tv screens. My question is will i be able to run a video out from my computer video card to my amp and still have the ability to go to three TV screens. I know the video card has to be a dual video card.

Thanks for the help.

Re: Considering Hoster

you will have no problem doing this. However I have never seen an amplifier have video outs.

Depending on your video card, it may have an RCA or S-Video out or both. I run a S-Video cable to a 4 Switch RF modulator box with coax out's. It has RCA or S-Video In's. I can have one main coax out of this box and with splitters I can run as many TV's as I want to.

To hook up the audio I use a RCA stereo patch cord with 1/8" mini jack and run it to the headphone jack in my laptop and Portable PC.

On my Mackie system I use 1/4" stereo patch cord with 1/8" mini jack.

Hope this helps
