Re: error-could not find jeterr35.hlp file

Go to the C:\Program Files\Micro Technology Unlimited\Hoster\Databases. Find the file songs.mdb, and delete this file.

Then open Hoster. It will tell you that the Songs.mdb can't be found, so you must click Yes to rebuild it. Make sure that top folder is set to the Location of your .kma files. Make sure the Database folder at the bottom is set to c:\Program Files\Micro Technology Unlimited\Hoster\Databases. Then click the Build Song Database button at the bottom.

Once this is done, close Hoster and Reopen it. Let me know if you still are having the same error message. This is a new one to me, I am not sure what is causing it.

This is a support question from a visitor or MTU product owner.

Hey, I am Don Evans--[snip]
A couple of days ago while importing more cdg's-This came up-could not find jeterr 35.hlp file----unrecognized database format 'G songs.mdb (3343)--------item not found in this collection(3265)----I could not open hoster after this.I am importing into my external G drive. I posted this on the forum with no results. I did my hoster upgrade today. Now I can open hoster but can't access any of my songs.Still got that jeterr thing a couple of times. I am not having any luck. PLEASE HELP. I have a big job Sat.-DON
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Now today after doing what you said, I do not get any error messages but I still can't access my kma files. I can click on my computer-- G drive and all of my files are there but in hoster when I try to search, nothing comes up. Even ID or Brand search nothing shows I have tried rebuild database and in about a second it says rebuilt ok. Tried going to HD and deleting song.mdb and rebooting. Same thing.--Please Help---

Re: error-could not find jeterr35.hlp file

Don,
The problem with the songs not showing up, is because when you click the Build Songs.mdb database, you need to make sure that the top folder in there is where your songs are located.

If your build songs database is building that fast, it is not reading all the songs, or the location is incorrect. Make sure that the Song Folder is set to your G:\ if this is where you .kma files are located.

Set the Database folder at the bottom to c:\Program Files\Micro Technology Unlimited\Hoster\Databases\.

Now click Build Song Database. It should click up saying Backup Successful, very fast, click Ok on this. Then it should go through and finish reading all your songs into the system.
