Error on Playback

I just purchased Chartbuster Greatest Songs of the Thirties & Forties 3 disk set, a relatively new arrival at the local shop. Seems to record fine, but upon playback from the hard drive in Hoster, I get a red Error message. I have used the Multisession workaround, which worked for another disk I had, but it still doesn't work. Any ideas?

Re: Error on Playback

If none of the songs from the set will play I don't see how multisession would be a factor.
The only thing I can conceive of with the information provided is did you maybe move the tracks to a different folder after importing?
If not you might want to make sure they are in the correct folder and try rebuilding your batabase.

Re: Error on Playback

When do you get the error messages, while importing or while trying to Play the songs?

If it is while trying to Play the songs, the only thing that could fix this is to Rebuild the Songs Database correcdtly. This is explained in the manual.

Re: Error on Playback

This is somewhat late, but I wanted to post the resolution to this problem. Thank you for your responses.

Yes, the error was on playback only. I imported these particular CD-G's again and it worked. I manually assigned the Disk ID #, so perhaps it was too long or too many dashes in it (I had 3 dashes in it).

Bottom line, everything is working now after re-importing with a shorter Disk ID #.
