Exclamation problem installing 2.213

I had 2.127 installed, followed the instructions to do the uninstall and am now trying to install 2.213. However, I do not have a floppy drive on this machine so am not able to get past the part where it wants to save the information to a floppy - my only option is to cancel the installation. Do I need to reinstall 2.127, then do the upgrade rather than the install? Everything I saw on the forums said to uninstall first. Please help ASAP.

Re: problem installing 2.213

What kind of internet connection do you have? If you have high speed anything, just skip the make a floppy part and do all your registration online. I hope this helps. Well, gotta go do a show, let me know if this works for you.

Re: problem installing 2.213

There's no way to skip the "make a floppy" portion of 2.213 - it was a never ending "insert a disk in A and press OK" or Cancel. I ended up re-installing 2.127, then did the Upgrade to 2.213. MTU - please be aware that not every system running Hoster will have a floppy drive.

Re: problem installing 2.213

yes I know, as I have never had one, and never had a problem installing hoster. Sorry but I don't know what to suggest. I've always just been able to follow the directions on install and be fine. Someone else should weigh in on this one.
