![]() Last night while trying to enter in a new disc in Hoster. I clicked on read CD with disc already loaded in USB Plexwriter Premium drive. Program did nothing, not recognizing disc is there I guess. No error message. Just did nothing. I had just finished using Microstudio to copy disc with no problems. Re-booted computer and tried again. Still the same. Never had this happen before. I finally just put the disc in the CD tray and left tray open and then clicked Read CD button. Tray closed and it read cd fine. Why oh why is this happening?
Not a major thing but definitely something to wonder about. The only thing that is different since the last time I used it is the latest windows update was added. (XP Pro) Thanks, Wally ![]()

Re: Strange thing happened
Wally,
I've had that happen to me to. I was running Microstudio to import the tracks and re-burn then I would minimize Micro and then bring Hoster up to import the new tracks. I don't do that anymore. I found if you run both programs simultaneously things get screwy fast. So now I just "ripandburn" all the org. CD first in Micro then I import them into Hoster. Everything works just fine doing that. Best, Roger

Re: Strange thing happened
Never had this happen before. You definetly could have some screwy problems if you have Hoster and Microstudio open at the same times. If they are both tying up the ASPI driver, it could cause some problems. Other programs could also cause problems, probably.

![]() Didn't have Microstudio and Hoster open at same time. Do have other writing software on this computer though. But like I said, it hasn't happed before. I don't want to remove Roxio from this computer. This is the computer I now use for my shows until I can build another. I probably should disable my Roxio drag & drop that is constantly on my desktop. Only open it when I need it. I'll try that and see if anything is different. But, when I go back and try importing another disc it may be all right again.
Maybe someone else has experienced this before. Will wait for other responses. Wally ![]()
