Cool getting overwhelmed

Hello,

I purchased Microstudio and now after all of the helpful posts and details offered on the website I am realizing that I need to also purchase Hoster so I can run a show in a place other than my living room.
My question is that I am prepared to purchase the Hoster program and the Karaoke suite with it, will there be any sort of adjusted price since I already purchased Microstudio?
I am not trying to be cheap, just thorough.
I wanted to get this answered before I continue putting the rest of my 7000 songs onto the hard drive I also purchased for my future portable show.
Should I wait for the Hoster software before I add more to the new hard drive? Using the Microstudio isn't compressing the discs as I read the Hoster software will. So I am filling up 200G hard drive very quickly.
I wait with baited breath for your help and expertise.

Thumbs up

first of all. all the files you now have on the hard drive are not compatible with hoster. it imports them in another format.

So If you are going the hoster route, stop importing. and wait for hoster.

You don't have to have the suite 4 to use hoster, only to create new karaoke songs.

Hoster os a value packed program, that you will never regret buying.

Good luck.

appreciation

I appreciate the answer to my question.
I will definetly stop importing as this is the second time I have started this process. The first external hard drive I had overheated after only a few minutes of operating and I returned it and upgraded not only in GB's but quality of hard drive.
Thank you and MTU for offering this solution for offering quality shows.
I look forward to being able to compact our set up but improve the quality of our shows.
We have been voted #1 stage at 4 different Nashville Talent searches and I can't wait to show off our new toy at the next fesitval this fall.

Fwiw:
I have tried all the compression ratio's on hoster, and I see no difference. when you get yours try first and compare. of course the smaller the number, the more disks you can get on a drive.

I have a maxtor 200 gig external, and have 20,000 songs (1500 cd's) karaoke, and 32,000 songs dj music. with about 80 gigs free. never had it get hot. and the maxtor will format in ntfs file system, where some of them won't.

Good luck.

same drive

That is exactly the same drive I purchased. Good to know so much will fit on there when done with the right software.
Thanx for your help.
