Adding new stuff to song book

Hi, I am a little new to hoster and was wondering if anyone could tell me how to add new stuff to hoster? I mean I know how to do it, but I need to keep a second file for the songbook seperate so I don't need to reprint all my books. Thanks for the help.

Please... ask a clear question

I'm not understanding your question. Please give us exactly what you want to do and we'll all be glad to answer you.

This may be a bit of work, but it's the only way I can think of at the moment... import your new songs to a temp folder, delete your songs.mdb file, then when you rebuild your database make sure you specify only the temp directory... print your updates and then you can move your new files into your 'normal' directory, delete your songs.mdb again, and rebuild once more specifying your 'normal' directory.

in theory this should work...

Talking This woud Be nice

I second the notion that this would be a great, and much needed feature to be added to Hoster.

Ok got it. I imported my new disks into a seperate folder like was said. Then I did rebuild data base and used only that file so it made me a mini little book with only those files in it. I printed out the new stuff no problem. Then I left those files in that same spot instead of moving them with all the others so next time I add new stuff I just add it to the same seperate file. I will not move them over until I do re-do all my books. When I was finished I went back and rebuilt the database. When you choose to rebuild you can select to rebuild using both of the folders so it keeps them seperate for the intent and purpose of adding more new stuff later. However, as far as hoster is concerned both folders are in a single database and all the songs are available in hoster just like normal.
Thanks for the help y'all
