Database and song.mdb problem

hi i am having a problem with my database
when i click on the backup database tab in the import section i get a window that says backup not successful
alo when i rebuild the database this window comes up as well saying the database was not successfully backed up
i think i might have saved the database or songs.mdb in a different access format when i was checking them
could this be the problem?
i uninstalled and reinstalled hoster but this did not solve the problem i also deleted the songs.mdb files and the bucket.mdb file but when i reinstalled hoster all the song lists were missing so i restored the bucket file from the recycle bin and the list came back up but the backup not successful is still coming up

HELP

There is a bug in the Import Tracks Tab "backup database" button

This button really has no required function, and it has a bug also. It has been removed.

The Tools menu Build Songs Database command will rebuild your Songs.mdb datbase should it ever get damaged. Read the manual.

If you have been using some means to modify the database, that is likely your problem.

You might need to remove and reinstall Hoster if you continue to have problems.
