Starting Microstudio without being online

I tried to start my Microstudio without being online and it tells me it can't read the registration number and to try to renistall it. As soon as I get online it comes right up. Do you have to be online to use the program or do I have to change an option. Please advise.

Microstudio only requires Internet connection to install and register. It is not required to run. If you are seeing this:

First make sure you have version 2.517, however no version ever required Internet to run. If you purchased 2.506 or higher, click your download link again to get 2.517.

Second, run the Installation program again and click the REMOVE option. That will complete remove your existing version. Then run the Installation program again to install 2.517.
