Unhappy Hoster Backup

Would like some major HELP!!

We just purchased your Hoster Program. Loaded all 425 Karaoke CD's into the harddrive, then wouldn't you know it the HARDDRIVE CRASHED. We called Western Digital and they replaced the harddrive.

Now we need to access the backup and put the MP3's back where they belong!!!

I have been able to get the backup of the database for the books, but not the MP3's.

PLEASEPLEASE Help get us back up and running. We have a show next week and ..... I really need help!

Janice,
Did you have a Backup of all of your KMA files? If not, and your hard drive crashed then you will need to reimport these songs.

I would always make sure that I have one Backup External Hard drive to keep your KMA files on. We have some clients who actually have more than 2 seperate backup Hard drives sitting on a shelf taking up space, just in case this ever happens.

If your drive crashed and you don't have a backup, then there is no way to get those songs back.

The songs.mdb only holds the path information to where the songs are located. It doesn't actually have the audio or graphics in this file.

I am in the process of loading 700 CDG's and am at #200 right now. If what happened to you, happened to me, I'd blow my brains out.

However, I do have an external hard drive which I bought with the program ,and at the end of each day of importing, I save my work to it.

Even the loss of one days work would be bad, but losing it all, is a disaster. I think I'll start backing up twice a day.

Good Luck...
