drives not detected in xp pro

my plextor 16/10/40 /or my toshiba sdr500 drive will not detect in microstudio 2314 and 2315 also khpro and vogone all great products but ever since i changed to xp from win 98 ive had problems i have upgraded
and installed correctly winaspi dll to 4.7 as explained in your forums but to no avail one thing i notice is that if i use the mtu
aspi it takes about 30 seconds to boot micro up and then dosent detect drives then if i change to the default aspi micro boots up instantly but still dosent see my drives win xpro os 2200xp athlon
256mg ddr 4gb hd nvidia gforce 4/ 64mg graphics agp card
gigabyte motherboard i will attach my dxdiag file so you may be able to help please help asap this has been driving me mad for months on and of if it involves me paying to upgrade i dont mind if it will do the trick yours hopefully carl
