Question error 5005 5006 on 2.014 install

Xp 2.66

installed 2.011 2 days ago. I downloaded 2.014 7-4-03 and went to install it and received error -5005. I uninstalled 2.011 and reinstalled 2.011 after reading forum about online registration problems on those dates 6-30 thru 7-2. I received error 5006 next when I tried to install 2.014.

read forum again

uninstalled everything

reinstalled 2.014

error message box pop up

This is a new one, I have never heard of before. The installshield for the 2.011 and 2.014 are almost idenctical, the only parts that changed were the actual .exe files for Hoster and the hosterman.htm.

Did you download the program to your computer and try to run the install off of your computer, instead of just trying to do Open from the website?

If not then please try this.

Make sure that you have all your Windows Updates, I don't think this will change anything, just because 2.011 installs fine. But it is worth trying. You can do this while on the internet, by clicking on the Start Menu\ Windows Update. Make sure that you select all of the updates and allow them to download and install.

Let me know what you find.
