Power your computer off and back on

This is always the first thing to try.

Did it work before and now it stopped? If so, our software didn't change, your computer did. If this is the case, think about what you did to or installed on your computer from the last time our programs ran OK.

Pastor,

There are a couple of settings you might check also.

Khp needs to run with 16bit color setting, and the hardware accellerator may also need to be reset.

These can be checked in almost one easy operation.

Right click the mouse on any open spot on your desktop.
Left click on Properties.
Left click on Settings.
On the colors (or color quality block) select 16bit from the drop, down menu.
Now left click on Advanced.
Click on Troubleshoot(or Performance).
If all the way over to the right, slide the hardware accellerator one notch to the left.
Click OK on both screens until exited out of this area.

Reboot the p.c.

You may have to repeat the hardware accellerator procedure, moving it one notch at a time

This may or may not solve the problem, but KHP needs the 16bit setting anyway, and the hardware accellerator can be put back where it was if the changes affect any other programs, or don't cure this one.

Hope this helps, if not, make certain you are not skipping a step somewhere along the way.

Please report back so support will know if you are or are not up and running. Thanks

George

not playing back in the Karaoke mode

I am back again I thought that I had the problem undercontrol but when I came back to work on another song it does the same thing that is it will not play in the Karaoke mode when playing back after the lyricks are sync'd with the music file.
The only progran I have added to my computer is Tax cut. I know that the problem has to do with something on my computer but I cant seem to find it. I have tried all the settings in the vidieo . The res is set to 1024 x 768 , color quality is set to 32 bit.
I have checked and there are no conflicts in the device manager. Do you have any Ideas. The last time I posted it seemed that you were suggesting mabe a vidieo issue. I have Nvidia TNT 64 pro

Angry Reoccuring problem with KHP Playing sync files

Thought I had the problem solved but it is back .When I sync lyricks with music and try to play back in The karaoke mode it does not go into the karaoke mode . I thought it was a sound card issue but I was wrong . I have tried changing settings on the vidieo like you recommended but still no luck. The only thing I have added to my computer is The Tax Cut program to do taxes. This is very frustrating and I sure need some help resolving this problem . All other programs on my computer work fine . For some reason KHPro doesnt want to work, it has worked for a couple of times but when I go back later it this same problem returns . I know It has to do with a set up issue I have a Athlon 900 ,512 memory , a I will kk 266 mother board and I am running Win. XP Pro

Please give us details...

We need specific details:

First, what version of KHPro are you using?

Second, I see that you also posted this problem in the KPro Help Forum. Have you upgraded to KPr0 4.008? If not, please do so and see if you still have the problem.

Third, Please give the exact sequence (what buttons do you push, what functions do you do in each screen, what error messages do you see or problems). Be VERY DETAILED. We need to know eactly what sequence you execute in the order you do, and an explanation of what happens at each sequence step.

Please open this Thread and click the Post Reply button to post under this Thread. Do not create a new thread. We need to track your problem until it is solved and we must have one Thread to do this.

ASPI Drivers

I had the same exact problem. I finally remembered that I had recently restored my machine, and I had not reinstalled the correct ASPI drivers. As soon as I did this, the problem was resolved. If you're still having this problem, it's worth checking out.
