hoster shutting down

Two times now during my show, hoster has stopped working. I bring it back up again and all the songs on the list are gone. What do I do?

I don't know why it stopped working but might be able to sort out why all the songs had gone.

First of load some songs into the playlist, then from the file menu select "Save As" then brows to C\MTU\Hoster folder enter a file name to save it as and press save.
Now close Hoster and reopen it should now remember anything in the playlist.

This save as action repairs the registry key for that function.

Assuming that fixes that, do you notice what you were doing when it stops working ?
Is it a particular file in the playlist ?
Do you have BA activated and a particular track in that causes it ?

It happened again Saturday night. It has been happening when you go into the search to look for a song.

Which version of Hoster are you using ?
Has it recently started this shutting down from the search ?
Does my answer about the playlist memory resolve that part ?

5.08 is the version I have. I have had it for about 2 months. My old laptop crashed and bouht a new one and had to buy 5.08 version. It has happened this weekend twice and two weeks ago once. I tried what you said about the save as and yes that worked but i don't always know when it will shut down.

Is your laptop a Dell, and/or do you use a usb sound card or a usb mixer?
