"Build Song Database Process" Window

It's not a big deal, but when I run the build database, the small window (box), is not the correct size for the information. As an example, when the number of songs being built is changing the total number can not be seen and the cancel button is not fully seen. I tried to enlarge the window, but it will not change.

What do I need to do to make the window larger, so all the information is in the window? As I already mentioned it's not that big a deal, but it's not correct.

Thanks,
Wes

Re: "Build Song Database Process" Window

I just tried it on mine and it displays OK but if I alter the display setting to 125% it shows as you describe.
Go to Control panel /Display in windows 7 there are 2 radio buttons, if yours is set to medium 125% select smaller 100% and apply.

If the print is too small for you in the playlist at this setting in version 5.08 you can use the Tools/Set fonts to enlarge both Playlist & search and singers fonts.
I don't know how this effects your netbook as they may have different resolutions.

I will draw MTU's attention to this point.

Smile Re: "Build Song Database Process" Window

Roy,

Once again you've come to the rescue. What you indicated worked. Changing the font also allows me to have a larger playlist and search. You now have provided an option, which I can use or not use. Since the "Process Window" issue is not that much of a problem, I can chose to live with it and use the 125% for Windows, or 100% and increase the size of the Hoster playlist fonts.

I no longer use the netbook for karaoke, so I don't have any problem with it.

Once again, thanks for being there when someone needs help,
Wes

Re: "Build Song Database Process" Window

Glad to be of service, I have mentioned it in the beta testing forum so it might get sorted for the next release, I'm not sure on that but it might

I'll close this thread now.
