Re: Buttons go Black in Hoster
I don't recollect ever hearing of this before.
Have you recently added new software or made changes in your computer settings that may have caused this ? Have you changed any settings for your display or graphic card ? Try using system restore to a time before this appeared and see if it corrects it.

Re: Buttons go Black in Hoster
Did these problems start after running group policy ?
I am not familiar with this tool so can't advise on it but it is a tool to restrict operations. I can only repeat what I said before, use system restore to a time before the problems started. Also Beavis is correct about 3.19 version could lose files. According to the MTU updates information page 3.17 to 3.20 versions will no longer install so not sure what would happen if you tried uninstalling and re-installing unless you have copies of the prior or later execution files as they are discontinued products. You can read this info here: http://www.mtu.com/support/hoster-versions-1.htm

As to a sofware problem, first I would try the system restore to a date prior to the problem starting. Restoring to a particular time is always reversible so if it does not help you can return to the present state. As mentioned in previous posts, your version was prone to losing whole folders of songs that is why it was set not to install anymore. So one thing I would advise before doing anything is make sure you have a backup of all your song files. I would normally advise upgrading to the newest version but as you say you rent this rig out you probably want to keep it as basic as possible, also upgrading to the latest version will alter the database and headers in the kma files which would make it hard to return back to present types and also make them incompatible if you have multiple rigs using your present version. If you have a copy of an the install file for an earlier version like 3.16 then this might be the better option for you or the later 3.21a. None of these are available anymore for download so unless you have the original instal files for them then the only other option is to upgrade to the latest version.
