Problem with Realtek HD Audio Manager

Hi guys, I am aware that this isn't a Hoster problem but someone might be able to help sort this out for me anyway.

Had a gig last night and during set up, I accidentally hit the "Set Default Device" button in my Realtek HD Manager. I was using a usb sound card at the time and the sound stopped immediately and it didn't matter what I tried, it would not work again. I finished the gig by using the h/phone output but the sound quality wasn't as good. Any idea how I can reset?

Re: Problem with Realtek HD Audio Manager

Should be able to go into the sound manager via the Control Panel & select your USB card as default.

Re: Problem with Realtek HD Audio Manager

Widows 7 ?
If your taskbar shows the speaker icon you right click on the icon and select playback device, else go to control panel/sound.
make sure Playback tab is selected.
If you are using an external sound card then you will have to have it connected first then click on it and select to make default device. If it is not displayed right click in the empty area of the dialog and tick the boxes to always show the other items.

When you open Hoster go to the Tools/Audio Controls make sure the window for the playlist card is set to your external if not use the drop down to select it then select the onboard for the search then OK.

If you make any changes using the windows audio setup it may not take proper effect untill you close Hoster and re-open.
