Hoster 5.06 Release???

I just returned from being out of town and see that 5.06 has been released. I have been running 5.06 Beta 14. My question is....Is this release any different than the Beta version? I am anxious to upgrade but if it is the same as Beta 14, then I won't be able to use the remove silence feature due to garbled start.

Re: Hoster 5.06 Release???

ALWAYS upgrade to the Release version, if we have let you see a Beta version.

We went to Beta 21 before the final release!

Has the release version corrected the problem in regards to the "remove silence" as mentioned in my post? The garbled sound on the first couple of notes?

Re: Hoster 5.06 Release???

Walt,
I don't think anyone can truly answer your question as the beta testers have not had your problem. There were problems for some regarding fade with RS enabled in that version you had.
There were about another 7 beta versions tested after the one you tried which was in very early stages really just trying to test for audio drop outs, nothing else. The final release showed none of the problems for the beta testers that you refer to.

I don't think you will get a Straighter answer than that.

Thanks Roy. I didn't expect Admin to answer my question. I will go ahead and upgrade tomorrow. I feel obligated to do so after all of my push to get tempo. If the problem still exists I will have to go back to 505 as much as I would hate to give up tempo but remove silence is my number one priority.

Thanks again,

Walt

Re: Hoster 5.06 Release???

Be sure to do the power management recommendations to avoid any audio drop outs. Don't expect it to run on battery power alone.

Will do. I don't ever run on battery alone anyway.

Thanks,
