Amazon/Itunes Karaoke Downloads

Has anyone out there used Hoster software in support of Amazon.com/Itunes karaoke downloads?

I have been tempted to purchase these downloads on several occasions but have not wanted to spend my money only to find out that these downloads are non-compatible.

When used, is there a special configuration needed for graphics to display on an “external monitor” (that is, S-video) vs. computer monitor?

Any and all advice greatly appreciated!

Gwen if you are talking about their "karaoke" songs, I don't think they are compatible. I tried a while back when my wife got her IPod and they are not in a recognized format for Hoster. Their music files are ok though as they are in MP3 format.
If you already have an Itunes account then you might want to try one and see it things have changed since I tried.

Thanks for the reply. The good news is, as yet, I have not run across anything on Amazon or Itunes that I have not also found in CD format.

Just wondering, in case that changes!

Let me research it a little more... I purchased a few karaoke version songs from Amazon a few months back, to use KHPro to make a new song mp3+g... but bailed out, and went back to the regular mp3 version, to place lyrics and then removing vocals... so I never tried using the karaoke version, as it was more difficult to place lyrics, and the version that I was working with, was just a little different from the original, so I never completed a project using the karaoke version... maybe I can now, that I have more experience using some of the other tools MTU offers, ie. KHPro, Songverter, Keywrite, etc.

I'll report back when I have something to offer you in the way of advice!

From what I've read on another forum, Itunes karaoke files don't display lyrics, they are just the music track without the vocal. Which might be OK if you want to use in KHpro and add the lyric yourself.
