![]() I recently changed to a new Laptop . I previously had Windows Vista on my other computer and Hoster worked like a charm. Here is the specifics on my new computer:
Windows 7 (64 Bit) Celeron Processor 2.2 GHZ 2GBG Ram 250 Hard Drive Using 1TB External Ram for my songs Went throught he check list and did the changes required for Windows 7 and also downloaded the latest version 5.02. I went into tools and imported my existing kma files and rebuilt the data base and the cdg files work perfect. The problem is with the video files MP4. I have imported the files and when I look at the playtime of the video it says e.g. 3:30 minutes long but when I play it , first of all I press Play then the duration changes to like 80:00 minutes and although the duration clock runs down, nothing plays. It says that the video is like 80.00 . Also everythime I press a button " The nonresponsive windows button appears then it takes long to get stable. I am going to install total of 4gb Ram today because of the requirements of Windows 7, but the video problem is driving me bananas. Help!!! |

Re: Problems with New Installation
The video problem is most likely a codec issue.

Re: Problems with New Installation
Do these files play OK in Windows Media Player and show the correct time?
If so can you load one from the Video Tab and play it ? If not have you installed the k-Lite codec pack. ? When you say you imported the video files, did you do this through the Build Songs Database by selecting the MP4 button and Adding the folder which Contains the MP4 files. This creates a small header file with a .kmh extension that has to remain in the same folder as the existing MP4 files ? When you open the folder in explorer does it show the MP4 & .kmh file ?

Re: Problems with New Installation
Because it's a new computer I think the codec might be the problem. I'll do the suggestions the forum mentioned. Thanks

The problem was solved thanks to the help of the forum. The k-lite codec was downloaded and my MTU Hoster works like a charm. Thanks to all
