Question Will KHP created cd+g's play on "JVC" cd+g players?

Will Karaoke Home Producer created CD+G's play on a JVC cd+g player?

I was using the Dart Program, until i switched to KHP, and the
Dart created CD+G's "WILL NOT" play on a JVC unit. Dart blames
JVC. Dart, when played on Pioneer units is NO PROBLEM.

BUT NO GRAPHICS APPEAR ON JVC, JUST THE AUDIO. THE SCREEN REMAINS BLUE.

ONLY ONE KJ IN MY AREA HAS A JVC PLAYER AND HE PLAYS ONLY EVERY TWO WEEKS AT A VENUE THAT I COULD TAKE A TRACK AND CHECK OUT, BUT WAS WONDERING IF ANYONE ELSE KNOWS, IN THE MEANTIME.

Kjzone,
Try doing a search on the forums for JVC, and you should find some good answers to your questions. If not then one of the clients that are using these players should beable to answer you and let you know 100%.

Don't know if it will vary with model, but I had a JVC 200 capacity player that Played KHP cdg's just fine. Sold it and got a Sony 400 capacity because it would also play CDRW's which the JVC would not.

Best I can tell you.

If you playing the Dart Karaoke with CD+G and attempt to play on the JVC player rewind between songs once and then play it the graphic will come up but I rather use KHP and just put the CD+G in the JVC and not worry about messing with it but I heard KHP takes five minutes to do a song and I been making songs sometime take me over an hour with Dart so I am going to get KHP soon sometime because I heard good things about it but I have Windows XP I heard it still has problem with the timing of the sweep, I have a Geforce 3 video and I heard they recommended ATI video card so I am not sure yet until I hear they got the Windows XP delay problem out. I heard Windows 2000 works just fine working with KHP but I don't have Windows 2000 right now. I don't want to downgrade yet to get KHP to work right and play with the sweep time delay.

Mojorsing,
We do recommend the ATI cards, but this is because they are easier to deal with. You don't have to upgrade there drivers as much as you do for NVIDIA. It seems to get any NVIDIA card to work, you must go to www.nvidia.com and update to their latest driver. With ATI, most of the time you won't have to do this, but sometimes you still do have to.

There is a workaround for the XP problem of the sweep being off, under XP, this is located at: http://www.mtu.com/vbulletin/showthr...p?threadid=876

Very last post, has the answer to XP in it.
