importing singers disc

last Sat. during my show i was asked by some music people if i could import a custom music disc, and i did , i mported it while a someone was singing, and it went fine, song playing didnt have any problem, no hic-cups, but when i imported a karaoke disc while someone was singing the hic-cups came back, i am doing this( importing custom disc ) in preparation for a hip-hop/karaoke contest this sat. i could just play the custom disc using my dj mixer, i was just wondering why there was no problem importing just regular music, while someome was singing, compared to a karaoke disc.

Re: importing singers disc

I think he was doing a temporary import since he was running a show at the same time. You cannot do a permanent import at the same time as a singer is singing. If it is temporary you have no choice where it goes.

my kma files are on an external drive, and my dj ( music )files are in my new cloned 500gb int. drive, i have never tried importing music disc before using hoster, i always like to run 1 program at at time, to avoid any problems ,even though hoster plays regular music , i have some stuff that i do using my dj programs..
