I have ripped in about 550 discs with no problem. Today I ripped in about 25 and they are showing in the folder that I saved them to but wont import in when i rebuild my base so in Hoster they are not there but are in the folder where i ripped them in to. i need help on this one. im stumped. any help would be great. thanks in advance.

How did you rip or import them?
If you imported from the Hoster Import utility (either CD or Hard Drive then they would already be there and you don't need to rebuild the database to get them to show.

All in one folder (with the previous 550) or a separate one?

No, I don't put my phone number in a public forum.

Do you get any error messages when you import them?

Check some of the files properties and make sure they are not read only. When you copy/move from one computer to another then sometimes Windows will set them as Read Only. Hoster cannot use them that way.

Check your Songs.mdb file and make sure it isn't read only as well. This is confusing but there has to be a simple answer.

That is the database file. You will find it in C:\MTU\Hoster and it is named Songs.mdb.

What operating system are you using?
If that folder is not there then Hoster won't work at all.

Next question is what version of Hoster?
Is your Hoster installed on the C: drive?

Open Hoster, go Help/ About Hoster.
If you just Installed it, then it should be 4.11.

Then there has to be a folder on C: called MTU and in that folder will be another folder called Hoster.
