How to redo remove silence

Hoster processed all my catalog but I hear no difference. I followed the instructions but the songs star and end as always

Have you made sure that the remove silence mode is turned on? In tools, Click on 'Remove Silence' and make sure 'Remove Silence Mode' is on (green).
Just a thought. Also, what do you have the 'Add Silence When Playing' set at?

I will rephrase my question

Where does Hoster store the info about start and end songs?
Does this new process is stored in the MTU folder or does it affect every single *.kma permanently?

It is "permanently" stored in the KMA header. When the songs are first processed or the database is rebuilt, the start and end times are written into the songs.mdb database for quick and easy access by Hoster.

Even though they are permanent, they are adjustable in the edit screen.

And as JNS02 noted it can be turned on or off in the "tools/remove silence" screen
