Track Database Search
I have 15,000 song in an external WD 250GB HD. I've done 'build song database' in tools. When I put "*" in search, only 120 soongs show up. When I go to 'tools', 'edit' all 15,000 show up. What am I doing wrong?
HP 6500 laptop, 2GB RAM, 250 GB Hard Drive, Vista Home Premium SP2, Hoster 3.316 Chuckster

Most likely you have either Duet or Mux buttons on which will limit the search to only those that are that type of song. Be sure that you only have Brand, Title , Artist, DiskID, Genre and BookID turned on (green).

Thanks Doug, That solved the problem and now I remember some time ago that the same thing occurred.

Your welcome. And no that wasn't me. I was in the Air Force for 20 years and then 20 years doing contract work for the Air Force working on computer systems.
