Hey Billy,
The new player that alows you to see the video in the preview screen in 4.06 was causing some problems so they removed it to aquire stability. As much as I don't like being the one who tells you this but you can only see the video on the Show Display in 4.08, the preview stays blank.

They added a bunch of good stuff to 4.08 and it's solid but you always have 4.06.

Jim

oh ok, i guessed it will stay that way for the rest of the upgrades, i never had problems with video on 4.06, i guessed i'll just upgrade my show laptop to 4.08 and leave my back-up on 4.06 ( for private gigs )

You won't be sorry Billy. Since they made the decision to remove the new player, I wouldn't be surprised if they came up with some way to get the video to show up in the preview window down the road. I'm not saying they will and I surely don't know if it can or can't be done but I know MTU will do everything in their power to get us the features we want.

i always trusted what ever decisions mtu makes, never had a problem with them'..i guessed we're asking to much from them, and they are always trying to give us what we are asking and not realizing that everytime we asked for something this will require some changes on our laptops/pc's..there goes the saying." be careful what you asked for ..you might get it" but we should be prepared and willing to make some changes..
