Running Mp3's through Hoster

I am running hoster 4.06 with windows xp, I have a 1TB external hard drive where I have both my .kma and mp3 files on. At times when I play an mp3 through hoster the song will do fine for awhile but then it starts to get a gurggeling sound and then slows down, Does anyone know what is causing this?

Are you running on a laptop? If so you may need some type of external cooling. There are several available that go under the laptop and have fans to aid in keeping the laptop cool.

Ditto on the cooler, I use one and it can make a difference.
