Question Hoster 4.06 Demo Problem?

Downloaded Hoster 4.06 last night for trial to see what everybody's talking about. Any song I added to playlist w/ key change would beep and go silent for 1 sec every 6 secs. I never read anything about this being a demo limitation so has anyone got any suggestions why this would be happening.

This system has a new motherboard GIGABYTE Socket 775 Dual Core with new Intel CPU, 1 GB Ram using onboard sound. It has latest driver installed.
Old MB was Intel and system was rackmount built by MTU. (also used onboard sound)

Any help is appreciated,
wallymeister

Is this a Vista or XP system?
I haven't tried the demo, so not sure if this is a limitation or not. I am sure there is some kind of limitation to keep it from working fully. I know at least one of the programs is set up that way and they mey have done this one the same way.
How does it work other than that?

Yes, I have downloaded every demo before installing and every demo does the same thing with the beep on a song that has a key change,
at least on my Vista. Don't know about xp if that is what you have.
The actual program there is no problem with

Thumbs up

Thanks for the replies guys!

My system is XP Home, with SP3, Direct-x 9.0c, .NET 1.1
Good to know it's not da puter. I was thinking it might be related to SP3 because I've heard some horror stories related to Multimedia and SP3.

Also, does anyone know if .NET 1.1 is good or should I install 2.0.

Thanks again
Wally

You need to bring it up to 2 first and then 3. You need to have 2 at least, as 3 isn't needed for Hoster...yet.
