Way To Go Mtu 4.06 Great

Just downloaded 4.06 today and it is working GREAT. I have had it going all afternoon and not ONE problem. I have been running 4.03, it was the only one that didn't give me any grief. Thanks MTU for sticking with us Vista users.

Running Great So Far

Downloaded it last night only one slight problem so far
When clicking the Hoster manual or online support tabs they do not work with AOL Desktop 10.1. I installed Firefox and they work fine with it
I tried relentlessly to get the audio to stutter but no problems so far
pause and resume works great now with vista
No sync issues so far

Question My Synch Problem with Vista is Worse

With 4.05 my synch problem only occurred (with Vista) when I sent the Singer Display to the second screen. I installed 4.06 last night & while the synch is closer, it is out even while the singer display in small on the Laptop.

3.4 plays the same songs just fine. Also my Music Videos that played perfect on 4.05 are delayed starting & reduced quality form 4.05.

I have several computers. 3 have Vista, the rest are XP. So far I have had problems with both XP & Vista. I haven't tried 4.06 on XP yet, but everyone acts like there are no problems with XP so it must just be me.

I did all of the steps MTU outlined for Vista. In 4.05 the synch was finally OK as long as I drug the display to the second monitor & stretched it out (leaving the white line on the left).

On one XP laptop (Compaq Presario 3000) I did all upgrades including Net framework 3.0 & still have the synch problem just moving the singer display to the second screen. On my Desktop (XP) 4.05 works fine even when I double click to have the display jump to the second screen. My desktop is older than the laptop that doesn't work...Wayne

.net Framework would have nothing to do with a sync problem. Sync is going to be a Video/Audio problem. Either not enough video memory or driver's not correct for Vista or something else dragging the system down.
When you say 4.06 is still off, how much is it off as the words should be highlighting just slightly before they are supposed to be sung.

Talking Yes Its Working As It Should So Far For Me!!!!

I have just done a 5 hour test

I loaded tracks from every single karaoke label i have
I loaded songs from the singers list which are in different keys
I loaded video
i loaded audio
while it was in auto i loaded in a few discs as if singers had brought the discs in

all the time Hoster was running i was running a second audio program in the background playing and auto fading from a playlist but with its audio output level turned down

i also fired up KSLC to stress my system too

NOT ONCE DID IT MESS UP!

SEEMS SOLID AS A ROCK!

I will do another similar test tomorrow

I am currently a happy bunny 4.06 rocks for me

Happy to see all the GREAT feedback.

I am so happy to see all of the great feedback on 4.06. I, unfortunately have to leave for an emergency trip to Florida Friday and will have a stand in KJ running my shows. I will (for now) stick with 4.03 for her sake. I sure hope when I get back, it is still a great and stable version.

THANK YOU MTU STAFF, DALE, JIM AND ALL BETA TESTERS FOR YOUR HARD WORK AND DEDICATION AN SUCH A GREAT PRODUCT. I wouldn't use any other.

I Downloaded 4.06 and installed it in my Hp Vista and run a test for about 6 hour on new player and old player and it seems to be performing great. Did not have any trouble at all. Last night I tried the old player on 4.06 (because I used alot of Video Mux) for 3 hours and it seems to be working perfect like the old hoster with the addition of the mraquee and instant buttons.

On the new player, run for another 4 hours and it works continously for another 3 hours. This is on my Vista laptop.
Before, I did the recommended changes, this laptop had the audio stuttering problem on 4.05 real bad. One thing I did do also was, I removed the net framework 3.5 and did the recommend adjustment on my laptop, then un-installed the hoster 4.05 and run a clean installation again of 4.05 and up it goes.... no more stuttering audio.

Right Now on this Vista laptop, I don't see any net framework (any version) I don't know what it does but so far this laptop is running great so I guess I could leave like this, if I see a pop up window that say I need to install net framework, I will do it. But for the meantime I will run this laptop without it.

My other Desktop Computer is a small gamecube case with Xp homea and I just installed 4.06 and did a test run also and it works great now. Everything with Video mux and key change. I could bring to my show and really subject it to actual show and found out if this would work great as my show computer. (Show computer still has 3.315 but still work great - no hiccups) even with 6 playlist open at the same time. 2 access window and winamp window.

Test Laptop/back-up:
Hp Pavillion dv6426US with Vista Home Premium 32 bit
Intel Core Duo T2425 @2.00 ghz
Memory: 1 gb
External Harddrive (Homebuilt) - 1Tb Kma's, Mpeg(VCD Karaoke), Cdg+mp3 and Musics(mp3,wma,)

Test Desktop/Back-up:
Small GameCube case:
Intel Pentium Dual Cpu E2200 @2.2ghz.
memory : 2.0 gb
Window Xp Home edition Ver 2002 service pack 3
Graphic card: Ati Radeon HD 3600 series, 512 MB

If I am not mistaken Vista comes with .net Framework 3.0 already installed. As with XP if anything is install with the operating system then it won't show up in the add remove programs list. Belarc Advisor is the only program I can think of that would show you what exactly is installed.

Mine showed up in Control Panel (Program - Uninstall program Section). When I checked on it I saw I had net framework 3.5. That's when I decided to removed it using uninstall program in control panel.

So, I guessed I still have net framework 3.0, that's why no pop up window showing yet whenever I something. So my Vista Machine still good.
