I renamed this to indicate that Hoster is NOT "stopping other programs from running".

i'm sorry ,i didnt mean to imply that hoster is stopping other programs, i wanted to stop other programs from running in the background so as not to slow down my laptop while i'm running hoster, and i kinda know how, but , i just dont know which one is safe to stop, dont want my laptop to crash if i stop something i'm not supposed to..

Hey Billy,
If you are not online, you don't need your anti-virus program running or your firewall program if you have one, while using Hoster. (Windows firewall is fine.) Close them.

Go through the icons next to your clock and close any programs (like photo programs and program control panels) that are not needed.

This should help.

Jim
