Question Video feature question

So, what version is going to have the ability to extract and store Divx, Mov, Vcd, etc. onto hard drive and into songbook database. I thought originally that it was going to be 4.0, but then I thought I read somewhere it's a version yet to come. (maybe 4.2?)

Not really needing to update until this feature is added. Been waiting for a long time.

Wally

Don't think Divx or MOV are included in that, but yes because of all the other problems the Video portion has been pushed back.

Hoster supports:
DAT - Compressed video files on the hard drive from a Video CD disc (not imported by Hoster).

VOB - Compressed video files on the hard drive from a DVD disc (not imported by Hoster).

AVI - Compressed video files on the hard drive.

QT - QuickTime compressed video files on the hard drive.

MOV - Compressed Quick Time movie files on the hard drive.

DVIX - Divx compressed video files on the hard drive.

MPG - Compressed video files on the hard drive.

MPEG - Compressed video files on the hard drive.

M1V - Compressed video files on the hard drive.

M2V - Compressed video files on the hard drive.

WMV - Compressed windows video files on the hard drive.

We ran into a small problem with converting Video files to KMA... they took ~12 seconds to open before playing.

We are taking another approach that will use a "new" KMV or KMH format (versus KMA) and should convert all the above video files at light-speed to this format, then they should play within a short period... fraction of a second we hope.

We were trying to get this upgrade in 4.03, but the out-of-sync problem has taken our 100% attention yet again. We think we will solve it once and for all this time.
